WatchSales has not yet launched. If you have only joined the launch waitlist with your email, you do not have an account. To be removed from the waitlist, email privacy@watchsales.com.au from the address you signed up with and we will unsubscribe and delete you within 7 days.
Once the app is live — in-app deletion
From the WatchSales iOS, Android or web app you can delete your account in a few taps:
Open the app and sign in.
Go to Account Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
Confirm with your password and tap Delete.
Your account is anonymised straight away and permanently deleted after 30 days. Payment, tax and moderation records are retained for up to 7 years where the law requires it (see our Privacy Policy).
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your account:

Include Your username or registered email, and a brief confirmation that you wish to permanently delete your account.
We will verify the request, delete your account within 30 days, and confirm by email. You can withdraw the request at any time before deletion is completed.
What is deleted
Profile, display name, username and avatar.
Active and draft listings, including all uploaded photos.
Messages and offers you sent or received.
Saved searches, watchlist and notification tokens.
Marketing-email subscriptions and SMS opt-ins.
What is retained (and why)
Some information is retained where the law or fraud-prevention requires it:
Payment & tax records Up to 7 years to comply with tax record-keeping obligations.
Moderation & safety logs Reports, blocks and audit events kept for up to 7 years to detect repeat offenders and respond to law-enforcement requests.
Backups Personal information may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten on rotation.
